To skip, play and run all day

Quote on being a child:

‘You are worried about seeing him spend his early years doing nothing. What! Is it nothing to be happy? Nothing to skip, play, and run around all day long? Never in his life will he be so busy again.’ ~Jean-Jacques Rousseau

"Is it nothing to skip, play, and run... all day?"

I love this quote! It is so true… My husband always tell me abot our kids “Let them do whatever they want to because they will grow up and never get that chance again to misbehave without being considered like crazy persons!”

    • So true, Zoubida! I often feel like I just want to MISBEHAVE, but I don’t have the excuse that ‘I’m just a kid’! Haha! Thank you for your comment!
I went for a walk with the puppy this afternoon*

It’s only the start of his life. So,give him a chance and let him do what he loves!

    • Yes, so true – there will be enough worries later in life – more than enough. Or perhaps we worry about nonsense… we think we should be all serious, but maybe we can learn to be more carefree*
